Michi Saito is a 22-year-old gravure idol, actress and singer on avex trax. She debuted in 2001 as a member of the gravure group Seikore. In 2002 she released her first single, "kono sora in kiss wo nageyou," as well as several photobooks and IVs.

In July 2005 she was voted the first grand prix of TV Tokyo's OUT?PUT. Her debut major label single, "dakara...." was used as its theme song. It was released on August 17th, and debuted on the Oricon charts at number 63, selling 1,974 copies. Three months later, on November 15th, she was part of avex's annual girl-pop Christmas single and recorded a solo song, "tooi machi no dokoka de..." for the third Girl's BOX compilation album, released November 30th.

February of 2006, she released her second major label single, "Matryoshka." The title track was again used as the theme song for OUT?PUT. The single debuted at number 199 on Oricon and only sold 320 copies. Since then she has actively appeared in avex's Girl's BOX concerts, as well as the weekly Girl's BOX TV series and has had supporting roles in a few dramas. In January 2007 she provided chorus vocals on Strobo's third single, "LOVE LETTER."

In 2008, she will star in Girl's BOX THE MOVIE.
